PILATES FOR GAIT DYSFUNCTIONS
Pilates is a great way to improve gait dynamics and form. The primary function of Pilates is to strengthen the core muscles. A strong core allows the hip, feet, and knees the freedom to move correctly. Using Pilates equipment can also do the following:
1- Isolate and enhance strength, flexibility, and balance, and
2- Focus on strengthening weaker muscles to help produce efficient, pain-free gait.
